August 2011, Five Performances

CHASING HEAVEN enjoyed another successful run in August 2011 when it was produced in connection with the New York International Fringe Festival. The production ran in five performances at the CSV Flamboyan Theater in Manhattan. Read the review published in the New York Times, and Leah's Huffington Post interview.

Leah Maddrie Won a 2013 BRIO Award for Poetry!

Leah Maddrie was one of 25 artists to be recognized by the Bronx Council on the Arts during a special ceremony on June 5, 2013 at the Longwood Art Gallery in Bronx, New York. The BRIO Awards (Bronx Recognizes Its Own) are grants extended to talented local artists in a variety of disciplines. In addition, the awardees all perform a community service project as part of the program.
